Crystal began her mental health journey in November 1998. Crystal landed her first position as a Residence Counselor with Rehabilitation Support Services where she was promoted to various positions throughout 15 years of employment. Crystal began working at CAPS in 2012 as the Administrative Assistant at the 100 Clinton Avenue apartment program. Soon after, Crystal was promoted to the Assistant Program Director position before taking on the role of the Program Director. As Director, she ran the housing program seamlessly until March of 2024. Crystal’s service to CAPS as a Program Director made her the perfect candidate for Executive Director. Crystal adroitly serves all members, clients, peers and staff. CAPS is a warm and welcoming place due to her efforts.
